Pia Whitesell is one of Australia’s most recognisable and respected screen and style talents. She is best known for her long-running series regular role as Katarina Chapman on Australia’s highest-rating television series Home & Away, earning a nomination for Best New Talent at the 2016 TV Week Logie Awards. Her television credits also include Wonderland, Neighbours and East West 101, alongside the Australian feature film Big Mamma’s Boy.
Internationally, Pia has continued to expand her screen presence, co-starring in Channel 9 and Playmaker Media’s eight-part drama series Bite Club, and appearing in Paramount Pictures’ global feature Dora and the Lost City of Gold, where she played Sabrina opposite Eva Longoria, Isabela Merced and Jeffrey Wahlberg.
Alongside her acting career, Pia has established herself as a highly sought-after brand partner within the beauty, fashion and lifestyle space. In 2017, she became the first Australian Ambassador for both Caltrate Vitamins and Procter & Gamble’s Gillette Venus, fronting major national campaigns across consecutive years. In 2018, Pia was announced as the first Australian artist to collaborate with French luxury house Guerlain, supporting the brand locally and starring in a micro short film directed by Gracie Otto.
Her long-standing relationship with leading global beauty brands continued when she was unveiled as an ambassador for Invisible Zinc, followed by her role as the face of Pantene Australia, joining an elite international lineup of women including Selena Gomez, Priyanka Chopra, Ellie Goulding and Gisele Bündchen. Most recently, Pia has been announced as the current Face of Olay Australia, fronting national campaigns for the iconic skincare brand and reinforcing her position as a trusted authority in beauty and wellness.
In 2019, Pia fulfilled a lifelong ambition when she was revealed as the face of luxury Australian jeweller Paspaley. The success of the campaign led to her becoming the brand’s first official muse, appearing across major advertising campaigns for 3 consecutive years.
Pia’s entrepreneurial spirit culminated in the launch of Macabalm, a multi-purpose beauty essential born from her deep understanding of the industry and her personal wellness philosophy centred on an active, outdoor lifestyle. After four years of development, Macabalm launched in November 2020 with a strong focus on sustainability, conscious production and everyday functionality.
